To answer the question from that post: When I look at the forum headings I can understand why some people get confused.
How about something like this instead for forum headings:
"Installation
– Questions/ problems with getting the basic installation up and running."
"Plugins and Hacks
– Installation, extensions and modifications"
Also: 'Please stop putting plugin questions here.' is a lit less shouty and a bit more visitor friendly if you ask me.
