   hey guys,
   Ok I don't know if this is a problem with me or with WP. I frequently use the default image uploader and gallery function. However, on a few occasions when I upload a number of images and then hit the save button, they don't appear in gallery Tab and it annoys me because I have to re-upload them. has this happened to anyone else? can it be a plugin conflict?

   Hi,

   Check with these options:

   -> Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder of your blog.
   -> Make sure that you have set correct path for upload files/images from wordpress admin area -> settings -> miscellaneous settings.
   -> Disable all the plugins and enable them one by one to find out the culprit.

   This just saved my butt after a week of beating my head against the wall.

   I had set up a test environment and the add image function wasn't working. Never though that this par would be set wrong- it was - until I read the above and checked.
