   I host multiple WP installations. Is it possible to have a single plugins folder and have each WP installation use that folder? I tried creating sym links in the plugin folder, but WP did not like that at ALL!

   Everytime a plugin changes versions, I have to install the same plugin around 9 times. Has anyone successfully accomplished this configuration?

   I use WordPress Multi-User with subdomain structure and use fee Domain Mapping Plugin by Donncha for each installation. One-time plugin update. Plus, single WordPress and WPMU codebase will be merging soon (no specific date) so this could be something which could make your life easier = http://mu.wordpress.org/
