[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can’t add captions

I posted this before and tagged it Shutter Reloaded but really I don’t know if the problem is that plugin or NextGen Gallery. It looks like both. All I know is the same bug is in two separate installations of WordPress on two different web hosts.

Same symptoms: Color options cannot be changed in Shutter Reloaded. The settings page shows new settings have been applied but the blog itself shows no changes.

Similarly, in NextGen, if I add captions they do not show up. I was able to change the picture for each album but it took two tries before it stuck.

These are problems that showed up with the last updates.
