   After 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 CTC is invisible on the dashboard. Extracted the zip and uploaded the correct folder, but the plugin was still invisible on the plugin list and the dashboard...?

   Yep, I'm having the same problem.

   Same for me - the plugin does not show up in the admin screen (plugins, widgets, settings etc.)

   Running a new install of 2.8.3

   update:

   It seems that the directory structure that unpacking the zip file makes is incorrect.

   I was able to make the plugin work by moving the tag_cloud directory up to the same level as the "configurable_tag_cloud_widget" directory made by the installer.
