   Exported "wordpress.2009-08-03" from old blog and want to install those posts to the new blog, that has posts already on my new site. The "wordpress.2009-08-03" = 9.49 MB.
   But, when i try to import the file to the new blog, it will only take 7MB.
   Is there a way around this, so i can make it so that it will take larger files, if not How can I edit it down into two parts?

   Second question
   If, I import the old data from the file "wordpress.2009-08-03"
   will it override/overwrite any posts that I have on my new blog? or just import them, and I will be left with more posts?

   I'm having the same issue. I have a file which is 8MB and I am not sure how to get it into my new blog. Is there a way to get around this issue? Can I upload it via FTP and then point to the file on the server? If not is there a way to split these files?
