   Hi, I apologize in advanced if I put this in the wrong topic.

   Anyway, whenever I try post a new topic, the rich text editor (is that what it's called?) is not showing and I can't even see the words that I am typing unless I highlight them. I deactivated all my plugins but it still doesn't work.

   Hi,

   Try to upgrade your wordpress to the latest version. If it already upgraded then download a fresh copy of wordpress and reinstall wp-includes and wp-admin folder with all the files and folders.

   I just upgraded to 2.8.2 and now I see that 2.8.3 is available already. I can't see anywhere on my dashboard where to upgrade, usually it's on top right?

   Can I still go ahead and upgrade the files and folders without upgrading to 2.8.3 first? Or should I wait until the upgrade notice for 2.8.3 appears (I installed Wordpress through Fantastico)?

   Hi, it's me again.

   I upgraded to 2.8.3 and then reinstalled wp-includes and wp-admin but nothing has changed. Any more ideas?
