My New HD Weblog

    Hello all,

    I am relatively new to this whole blogging thing, and especially new to WordPress and version 1.5. I recently started a weblog at http://www.hdblog.net/. Any comments or suggestions? I used the standard template, and modified it a bit. Should I modify it more for a more personalized look?

    As well, I have an administrative question about this forum. I made a newbie mistake: I posted links to my weblog before I got a domain name, in this message:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=13954

    Now Google thinks that I have two websites with the same data, and has sandboxed me (from what I understand from http://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=214804). Is there any way I can get the links to my website removed from this posting?

    Nice header. It wouldn’t hurt to customize it if you feel you need to. Otherwise, the kubrick template is quite nice as it is. Also, I noticed one thing. On the header you have sharp edges but your footer has rounded ones. If it’s on purpose then all good, if not, you can easily change it on your template by messing with the masks.

    Nice site though. I can stand to learn a few things reading your entries. hehe!

    You noticed that! Yes, I did that on purpose. Thanks for taking a look.

    Oh, and I resolved my other problem by remapping my domain through my provider. So although I would still like the links changed, they aren’t as damaging anymore.
