My current website is http://www.garage411.com and has a very good amount of content. However I am thinking of moving everything to Wordpress. Only problem is how do I do this effeciently and quickly? Seems like I may have to move all the pages one by one to wordpress.

The software I'm using for my current website is wikkawiki and I doubt there's anyone out there who's created a software to convert the whole thing over to wordpress.

    Any ideas?

You could in theory maybe migrate this to WordPress, but it might be more trouble than you are willing to go through unless you've got a ton of content.

I would imagine that you could convert wikkawiki to a more popular Wiki app like MediaWiki. And I would also guess that there is some clever way to migrate from MediaWiki to Drupal. And then it would be easy to migrate Drupal to WordPress!

But like I said, kind of a headache ;)

Thanks for the tip. I think I may just end up copying and pasting all the pages into wordpress. I have another person who can help me with this so we should be able to get this all done within a month.

I truly believe if I want to grow my website then I'll have to move it over to wordpress. There's an actual community, tons of plugins and unlimited support. Updating the site would also be much easier and quicker. The Pros definitely outweigh the cons.

You're very right, using software like WordPress that is being actively developed and has a thriving community can be a huge boon to your website's growth.

Good luck with your move Spartanic!
