sahaskattaI recently just implemented built in commenting features that were made available in WordPress 2.7 to my current 2.8 install.
I have enabled second level threaded comments.
A new "comment page" is created for every 25 comments.
The Comments are separated from TrackBacks & PingBacks.
Here's the problem:
Let's say there are only 20 comments, but about a total of 70 Comments+Pings. WordPress creates the navigation for 3 pages worth of comments, despite being able to display all 20 in one page. As a result some pages are entirely blank (no comments or trackbacks) and the other's are confusingly organized.

Try browsing through the paginated comments, see what happens!
If anyone knows how to make the paginated comments to be only affected by the number of true comments and not TrackBacks/PingBacks, please offer some advice. It would be nice if the TrackBacks/PingBacks stayed static on whichever comment-page you are on.
