Tweet This v1.5
I looked at the php file and through all the options that Tweet This offers on the wp-admin GUI.
I also tried highlighting and deleting the stuff in the "Tweet Text:" field. After doing that the stuff comes back after clicking "Save Options"
What I see now on my blog (josephcamara.com/blog) is the little square icon and then text as links next to the icons.
Is there any way to just have the icons of the individual services as links?
I can choose "no icon" but rather have a small symbol instead.

You cannot just remove the text from the "Link:" box in the options because it cannot be left blank. You have to enter "[BLANK]" in it (including the brackets). This used to be indicated more prominently, but in my efforts to simplify the options menu in 1.5 I made it harder to find. It only tells you that when you hover over "Link" (notice it is underlined).
The [BLANK] tag also works for the other social networking services. Make sure that is all that is in the link text box.
