   When I installed WP 2.7.1 to my Go Blogger (dot) net using Fantastico Deluxe, I got 2 plugins automatically: Akismet and Hello Dolly. I know Akismet is very important to block spam. Does Hello Dolly also has the same importance?

   Why they put it together with Akismet?

   It's just there, there is nothing you can do. If you want to, you can go ahead and delete it. But I personally don't find it useful at all.

   It comes with every WP pack. It's just a plugin that one of the main developers of WP finds funny. There's no use for it, no. I delete it (and Akismet) after an auto-upgrade (in the manual days I just didn't upload them).
