I was wondering if there are any plans to manage squads in future updates!
Showing games played, goals scored etc!

You can manage team rosters with my ProjectManager Plugin (http://kolja.galerie-neander.de/plugins/projectmanager/). I have also included a connection between those two plugins to insert statistics for each player. This feature is still pretty simple and I'm glad for suggestions.
This will be the way to implement squads.
