Thanks to the fine people here on the WP support forum, I’ve got my site Odd Ends going nearly how I want it.

The final test is to see if it is totally ugly in IE for Windows. I’m on a Mac, using Firefox and Safari and it looks ok to me 😉

Would somebody mind taking a gander at it for me? Frankly, I’m mostly concerned that it doesn’t look so bad that it’s unreadable. Content is king, after all.

Speaking of which, if you have any ideas about which category I should enter the Content Competition, I’d be happy to hear them!

    Thanks in advance!

heh, I’m not sure how you wanted it set up, but in FF on my windows comp, the yellow box underneath each post is too far to the right and is on the wood panel background. In IE this looks fine I’m thinking as it’s contained.

However, in IE the sidebar gets pushed to the bottom, but in FF it’s where it should be.

Thanks for looking, lawtai. I suppose I should say that I want the “yellow box” to hang over the edge of the post column — I think of it as a post-it full of commentary on the transcribed article.

I wonder how I can bring the sidebar back up? I may have to reload IE on my Mac :/

Well you might want to consider developing your theme from a more robust starting point. There are plenty available.

Pretty nifty with the post-its, logista. I’m on a pc with FF1.0.2, sidebar where it belongs, looks fine – cute idea….

Aw, Root, where’s the fun in that? 😉

Vkaryl — I’ve still got a lot of work to do to make it look more like I want (in more browsers), but so far I’m pleased with how it’s functioning.

    Thanks for looking!
