  • Tranny,

Try Dagon Design’s secure PHP form mailer. http://www.dagondesign.com/articles/secure-form-mailer-plugin-for-wordpress/

The plugin works fine under WP 2.8

An update is in development to switch over to providing a shortcode from the current old style html comment.

Plugin doesn’t work in 2.8.4. Get the following error:

Warning: main(buttonsnap.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/annsarah/public_html/experience/modyssey/wp-content/plugins/wp-contactform.php on line 39

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'buttonsnap.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in /home/annsarah/public_html/experience/modyssey/wp-content/plugins/wp-contactform.php on line 39

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: buttonsnap_dirname() in /home/annsarah/public_html/experience/modyssey/wp-content/plugins/wp-contactform.php on line 45

@eveums: It looks like your host has a very restrictive include path there 🙁

I have just pushed out an update of the plugin which should fix this.

It does make the plugin now require a WordPress install of 2.8 or newer but hopefully this will fix your issue.

Got it to work just fine.

How do I enable the captcha that you have on your form on your site?

    thanks

Great plugin, a CAPTCHA addition to block the spam would make this plugin even better.

Just downloaded it and got it working within 5mins.

I’m new to wordpress and no experience with forms. If I had tried this in html it would have probably taken me all day. WordPress has really impressed so far and with plug-ins like this my life is so much easier 🙂

    Thanks,
    Mike
