  • Did you run Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks? Is this a new install? Did you just upgrade? Site URL?

I changed the Permalinks settings back to default and everything works fine again. Does anyone know why this is? I am just learning Word Press, and I was reading in a manual that using “Pretty” Permalinks is better than using the default setting. Should I bother wih changing this, or just leave it on default?

Change your theme to WordPress Default theme in Appearance > Themes; disable any or all plugins, and then run Settings > Permalinks.
