I cannot find a solution..
check your style sheet if there are any clear
or float
with the caption class.

This is my stylesheet for caption:
.wp-caption {
border: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
text-align: center;
background-color: #EEEEEE;
padding: 4px 0px 5px 0px;
-moz-border-radius: 3px;
-khtml-border-radius: 3px;
-webkit-border-radius: 3px;
border-radius: 3px;
}
.wp-caption img {
margin: 0px 0px 5px 0px;
padding: 0px;
border: 0px;
}
.wp-caption p.wp-caption-text {
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
font-size: 11px;
font-weight: normal;
line-height: 12px;
}
Switch to the default theme and see if it works then. If it does, then it’s a problem with your theme’s css.

Thank you iridiax.
I have the same problem also with default theme of WordPress 🙁
Try aligning your images left or right. If you center them, they will be one per line.
