   I have imported my old MT system into WP and am trying to work on item 4c on this page:http://wordpress.org/docs/tutorials/import-mt/.

   I want to get ride of my old MT blog and have all incoming links be redirected to the proper pages in WP. However, the link to Alex King's MT redirect is broken. (See for yourself: http://wordpress.org/development/archives/2004/03/29/redirecting-mt-entries/)

   I would like a working link to Alex's solution if someone could provide it. In the mean time I have Matt's solution http://wiki.wordpress.org/MT-Redirect

   I confess I find the directions a little intimidating, not to mention I don't entirely understand what would be happening. If I follow Matt's directions could I remove the old MT blog and all incoming links would still be properly redirected to my new WP blog?

   Thanks for any help in clearing this up.

   http://tis.goringe.net/2005/04/12/redirecting/ has another way of hacking this...
