   Hi

   I have a blog that was created with WP 1.52, now I have another domain on which I had installed WP v2.8, I want to export the content from my old blog into my new one.
   I had seen some topics regarding problems with the WXR file but I cannot find the way of doing this export on WP version 1.5.2. I am using the following theme: WordPress Default 1.5 by Michael Heilemann. I basically cannot find the option to export on v.1.5

   any help will be appreciated.

   use this plugin but please read the instructions

   Thanks very much for your answer. I actually don´t want to upgrade my version of WP as I had installed the new version on a new domain, I just want to expoert the content from the old installation and import it on the new installation. It is not problem to import the content on the new installation, I just can´t find the way to export the content from the old 1.5 wp version.

   You can't import from an older version to a newer one because there are differences in the databases. The two WordPress versions need to match.
