   Hi there,

   I have been using wordpress for quite a while now however noticed over the past few versions I am having persistant problems with my thumbnail images showing up.

   They just show up as a grey icon (which I take is the background anyway) and the images are not all showing, there is no difference (that I can see) between the thumbnails that do show and those that don't so believe this is a Wordpress problem rather than server side.

   Any ideas/help on this would be appreciated.

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

   - renaming the plugins folder via FTP

   - reading http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132
