I have a godaddy linux host. I have installed WP 2.91 and my dashboard in unusable. It appears unformatted and I am unable to upload themes or do much of anything. I have searched the forums and found similar issues but not a resolution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may be using a free hosting account, in which case some functionality may not work as intended. You can easily upgrade to a paid account using this help article - http://help.godaddy.com/article/9?isc=smfor1
