    I just transferred my blog from host4profit to hostgator and i finally got it to work but now i cant log into to my wordpress the old passwords dont seem to work.

    when i click on lost password it just tells me not a valid email. is there any way to update to a different email so that it can send me a new password???

  • use one of these methods to change the password

    then you can log in and change your email

    have changed my password and now all I get is the following 500 internal server error

    ” Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    however when go onto blog it says log out so the blog thinks i am logged in I just cant get into blog and make any changes..

    Any suggestions?

    have checked my error log and I get this message coming up

    “Fri Jul 17 08:00:34 2009] [error] [client 58.110.36.26] SoftException in Application.cpp:544: Directory “/home/whyplayg/public_html/wp-admin” is writeable by group, referer: http://www.whyplaygolf.info/wp-login.php”

    Any ideas on what i need to do to fix it ?

    when do you get this error? right after the log in screen?

    You may need to reset your permissions.
