   Hey, all

   I manually upgraded WP to 2.9, and I am getting a weird error after upgrading. When trying to login to the dashboard, I see a "upgrade your database" screen. When I hit the Upgrade the database button, however, I get a blank screen.

   Any thoughts?

   Did you disable your plugins before upgrading? If not, rename the plugins folder temporarily to disable them & try the upgrade again.

   Same issue for me.

   Renaming the plugins folder doesn't help at all. It just makes restoring the site much more difficult after the upgrade fails to work.

   Any more thoughts?
