  • If a post with the same title already exists, then you will notice that the permalink of the post will have a “-2” or a bigger no. than 2 at the end.

Ahamz.. i almost forgot about that.. but does anyone know another way or at least to do a little modify to the permalinks structure.. to show a Warning message.. if posts already exists .. if for example a have a post with permalink “i-love-wordpress” and someone else posts another one with same title and permalink will be “i-love-wordpress-2” .. i want to show a warning message this “this posts already exists”.

can someone give me a little help and tell me where does the permalink structure is starting adding “-2” “-3” etc.. to posts that already exist so i know where to add that message 🙂 ?
