   I don't think, that this is useful to pollute the WP with an other plugin even if the backend can be run in several languages simultanously, that needs other replacements. That's why WordPress has a build-in solution to support that. I have explained it for german readers (those are addressed by your plugin) in my article: "Permalinks mit Umlauten ohne o42-clean-umlauts"

   Yes, you are right, the build-in solution might be the best way.
   Nevertheless I let this plugin in the WP Repository.

   Waste and useless -- maybe 50 % of all released plugins are wasted time. :-)

   And the useful ideas are missing ... *hmpf*
