How to make custom fields appear when writing a post permanently/at all times? (1 post)

I'm trying to create a "download site" using wordpress, I won't be needing the main post multiline box and I want to base the post's content on the custom field entries..

Recently I've tried using Flutter (which is almost what I wanted to achieve) but it has too many bugs and it is very complicated, I even hired someone to help with modifications and once I updated my wordpress the whole plugin seemed to just fall apart not to mention the upload form wasn't working which is crucial.

I'm trying to get this site up soon, I've been working on it for months but have not had any success. I don't know enough PHP to be able to understand most of the pre-existing Custom Field tutorials and I can't find what I'm looking for.

I want to entirely redo my wordpress postings page, Remove the multiline box and replace it with inputs for things like Authors URL, Authors Name, Perhaps an Image Upload form or an input that I can paste the url to the thumbnail etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
