   Hi i've been coding wordpress themes for a while now, but i've been having issues with links in the site.

   On my localhost i'm setting it all up then moving it over to the net once i've done it, but i keep having to mess about with the link urls..

   On my local host i have to use ./news/ to get wordpress to echo http://localhost/sitename/news/

   When i upload to my webspace, those links wont work, i have to remove the fullstop from the link at the begining. So it becomes /news/

   Can someone point me in the right direction here? I spent all day looking yesterday and i feel like giving up!! I don't even know what term to search for.

   I'm guessing it's to do with my local host setup, i'm using:

   Windows XP & EasyPHP, if someone can help me i' be eternally grateful!

   Yep - although I'm using exactly the same setup. Don't use localhost. Set up something like wpdev:8080. Works for me.
