upload not working

hi,

previously, the media upload module was working fine. files were uploaded under uploads/2009/04, which was april.

today, i’m getting a message that the folder “uploads/2009/07” is not writable.

i have change the folder permissions of “uploads/”, “2009/”, and “07/” to 755 then to 777 and have tried using the html uploader version but I still get the same message.

here is the complete error message:
Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/c240821/podcastloot.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
