Configure FTP client?, and Accessing "HEAD" of doc using Wordpress Editor? (2 posts)

    Hi, I'm really knew to wordpress.....just trying

    to configure my ftp client (FTP Commander) to access the

    wordpress directory....Having problems.

    If my website is X.example.com, then I would assume that

    the ftp address would be the root domain: ftp://ftp.example.com

    and the username would be X.

    However when I attempt this configure of the FTP client, no access.

    Also, How do I access the "HEAD" part of a php document through

    wordpress editor.....in order to add Google do dads for

    verification.....

    Second question (About accessing head of document) rendered

    needless, if i can access my site using FTP client.

    If my website is X.example.com

    subdomains show up as folders below root level
    example.com/x

    I assume the user name is whatever you or host set it at

    your theme's header.php is where you access the <head>
