   Hi,

   I am trying to move the my blogger blog to word press through import options.

   I have granted the permission to access. Then i got the following error.

   Could not connect to https://www.google.com

   There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

   Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? (0)

   Please help me to resolve this issue.
   I tried of creating an account in word press & transferring the blog into word press. but the xml file is more than 2GB. how to solve in that way.

   Please help me.

   you need to contact to web hosting server they do not provide this for.

   There is way to change your 2MB limit quota if it is self hosted wordpress.

   Hi,

   Add these lines in htaccess file of your wordpress blog:

   php_value max_execution_time 128MB
   php_value memory_limit 300M

   After that try to fetch blog from blogger..

   my .htaccess file is empty.

   I have added the mention php codes & tried to fetch blog from blogger.

   But i got the same error again.

   Please help me. thanks

   Hi Allok

   try this structure in .htaccess

   #set max upload file size
   php_value upload_max_filesize xxM

   #set max post size
   php_value post_max_size xxM

   replace xx to size something 16 or 32. Hope this will work if not then there is one more another method to increase this size. Lets try this first if not then We will go further.
