I configured the options and the 2 new icons appeared in the tiny mce editor but when I go to the page the only links showing are my original Wordpress page links. I took out the WP original page link php as stated in another post but nothing happened.

Couple of things. Have you created any multipage posts? Once you have a multipage post, in the options page for my plugin make sure you have selected where you want the pagination links to appear (you can choose top / bottom or both).
