   While accessing wordpress from "http://locahost/blogs"
   It gives error
   Installing to http://localhost/ is not supported. Please use http://localhost.localdomain/ instead.
   Is there no way to install it from localhost without using sub-domain??

   Using xampp on my local PC I have no problem accessing WordPress at http://localhost/wordpress

   There's a section on installing WordPress on your local computer in the Installing WordPress article that may help you.

   I dont want to use xampp... Is there any other way?

   I don't see that message in WordPress 2.8. Are you using WordPress MU? If so see:
   http://www.google.com/search?q=Installing+to+http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2F+is+not+supported.+Please+use+http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost.localdomain%2F+instead.
