I have looked everywhere and it seems so much trickier than I imagined.

I would simply like to have a page or post in my wordpress site that displays an rss feed pertaining to a certain subject.

What's the best way to do this?

I have read many articles on the RSS Feed that is SENT OUT from my site should someone want to see what is appearing on my site. I have also seen documentation on how to use a widget to display an rss feed in my sidebar or so on.

What I have not found is a simple way to display the results of an rss feed on a page or post so that my viewers can click a link and then end up on a page full of rss feed links.

    Can someone help please?

I tried using google-news but it breaks my wordpress.

I tried simplepie but it wants me to simply insert php code into a sidebar rather than have a page or post dedicated to the rss feed.

I thought this would have been a really simple thing to do but it's become more complicated than I imagined.

thanks so much in advance for helping me with this!

If you created a widget-ready page template, you could use the native RSS widget.
