Hi, I just started using WordPress and I'm a bit confused on how to add posts to my blog new pages a sidebar with some widgets, stuff like that. Now I haven't bought a domain and hosting yet because I want to make sure that WordPress will be easy enough to use. I will be using GoDaddy, though. If someone could please tell me how to go about doing this sort of thing and how to created my website it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

You should begin by going to wordpress.com, as opposed to wordpress.org. The .com version offers free hosting with no downloads, so you can put together a site pretty quickly by choosing from standard templates and following the step-by-step directions. It's free and painless. Then if you decide you want to use the full WordPress app in your own server environment, you can come back here to wordpress.org when you're ready.

Thanks for the reply, crazytaxi. Actually, I do use wordpress.com and it's great and all, but I want more customization and flexibility which is why I want to start using wordpress.org.
