    The dashboard sections for stats and plugins
    don't work for me in 2.8. I keep getting unresponsive script error messages. The stat plugin upgrade had no effect. What to do?

    Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I had to go back to WP 2.7.1. Stats no longer work, I get a yellow field with 2 brown lines on it, when the mouse goes over it a flag saying undefined appears.
    I have entered the API several times and mad it link to the blog, still no stats. What else can I do?

    I have brand new WP 2.8 installed on my shared hosting. I want to get stats using this stats plugin, installation running smoothly, API Key accepted and dashboard for stat was shown.

    But unfortunately somehow it didn't collect anydata, as I have compare with AwStats results, it shown at least I get almost 100 external visits/day and stats plugin always show nothing.

    Just wondering if other have same problem?

    Not sure if its the same issue as your having but my dashboard was working just fine - now every time I type in "/wp-admin" after the url I get the error message "500 - Internal server error."

    Occasionaly I get presented with the login page once I log in as admin I get the same error message.

    I too am using 2.8 - not sure why the sudden failure - any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.....

    Just fixed it - I deactivated a plugin:

    Ozh & ♥COLOURlovers Admin CSS Designer

    and it reappeared - all the advice say to check the plug ins and as usual they are spot on - well it worked for me anyhow..!

    I had the 'dashboard not loading' problem with 2.7.1. And found that it was the stats plugin which was giving problem. So I deactivated the 'wordpress.com stats plugin', after which the dashboard loaded without any issue.

    After upgrading wordpress to 2.8 I again activated the 'wordpress.com stats' plugin. This time the dashboard loaded successfully. But the stats simply refused to show any visitors. The graph was flat and the stats were zero. I then found that this code is to be inserted in footer.php, else the stats plugin won't work :

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    And yes, the stats are showing now. But still the problem isn't resolved. Though the stats are showing but the space for graph is completely BLANK !

    Anyone with a solution ?
