   I've noticed this since upgrading to 2.8.

   I have some lines of code commented out for internal purposes in a few of my template files. The thing is, I can't see them at all since upgrading to 2.8. For example, when I download the header.php file and open it in a text or html editor, the lines of code that were commented out are there.

   I've searched the forum but couldn't find any similar issues so I'm adding this now.

   I can see commented HTML (<!-- ABC -->). Is it commented PHP or HTML or CSS? If it continues to be a problem then add it to Trac.

   I'm trying to hide some bits of java script in the php file. The same thing happens when I comment-out a line or two before some html code within the same php file.

   What do you mean, "add it to Trac?"

   Trac is the place to submit bug reports.
