I'm using godaddy as a host and sometimes the wait time to load a page on my site is considerable.
One thing I've learned is that for a post to show up, I have to turn the cache off and/or flush the buffer, otherwise it won't show up in my blog. So if you check my site and things seem a little slow, it's probably because I have the cache turned off. (Actually, the post will show up if I wait for the cache to expire. I'm just not particularly patient.)
