We attempted to upgrade our WordPress 1.5 today and at Step 9, run the wordpress upgrade program and follow the links, it connects us to an install page, with no upgrade option. We did locate an upgrade option in hte admin console eventually and it says we are current, however, our blog content is not appearing. Our themes are present, but our blogs are new.
Where is our content? How do I re-connect it to the blog post?
Any help is appreciated, this is my first attempt at an upgrade with WordPress.

Did you make a backup of the database before running the upgrade? You cannot safely upgrade from 1.5 to 2.8 in a single step. You must go through a series of smaller upgrades.

Posted 2 years ago #Sorry, my mistake. We were on v2.5. And yes, I did backup the database first.
