Different Time Zone Support? (3 posts)

So here's the deal. I have users from a variety of timezones interacting on my website. Now the problem that has arised is the timestamp. If they post a comment it shows in my timezone. If I post something it's in my timezone. It is creating confusion for users trying to figure out when things were posted.

So, my question is, is there a plugin or wordpress hack to make the time show in the users time zone, and not just in one time zone? If you come from china or new York to the site, the times should be displayed relative to you!

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Might not be a great idea. Consider post ordering. If you have posts displayed using the local timezones of the users, then they could be in the wrong order relative to the actual time they were posted.

Also, adjusting time relative to the viewer is a bad idea because it's not useful to know when the post was made in my time zone, where it might be useful to know that you made the post at 3 am your time.

I have the same need too. Showing relative time / date is one solution.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-relative-date/ plugin will help. But, I want to know if we can absolute local time instead of this local time.
