   I just upgraded to 2.8 and now i can't edit my pages or posts, it is not showing any text or icons like Bold Underline, etc buttons in the Visual mode. What went wrong or better how do i fix this? Thank you.

   I think your allowed memory source has been exhausted.
   You should go to /public_html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 273 and see if that will work. This problem happened to me on http://askcrazy.com but i've still not been able to figure it out.
   I also want to say that when you edit your post and you upgrade sometimes you get this information

   <b>Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/askcrazy/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 302</b>

   If you don't get that working you can delete some of your inactive plugins and everything will be fine, especially with the Quick Edit

   It may not be a memory issue. Plugins are the most likely culprits in my experience. Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one - checking the Admin area after each re-activation - until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   I'm having the same problem as Sammas. I the posts in the edit posts field look blank. The copy is there, but looks like it's been coloured white. I also can access HTML view. Really frustrating.

   by the way, I've tried deactivating all pluggins and it didn't do a thing.

   If you have tried the plugins, I'm not sure what to do, but I was having a problem with not being able to edit as well. If I clicked "edit" or "add new" it took me to a blank screen. My Picapp plugin was the culprit. That same plugin has also caused other sites I have to hang up and take a really long time to load. I have quit using it now because it just wasn't worth the trouble. If anyone reading this has it installed, you may want to try turning it off.

   I posted this also on my blog.Someone must have a resolution.

   When I started building my own blog I posted several articles by other authors but always with permission and full credit.However,I neglected to have them as signed up contributors and the Word Press settings show me as the original author at the top of the posts with corrections further down.The authors are getting full credit but it is a little confusing in old posts.
   I must note that my blog has had technical problems resulting in 3 crashes and although most things are working correctly now I would have to delete those old posts and republish them because any changes I have tried to make are not saved by Word press.I cannot even add new pages,only new posts.More problems to solve.
   Word Press is now fully updated and the administration pages for Edit Page and Edit Post are there.
   BUT: they won't save my article nor posts nor allow corrections ,whether I 'Save as Draft' or 'Publish',except for the title.The only way I have been able to publish new posts has been via copy and paste into that little post page on the Dashboard screen.
   I cannot even correct a title mispelling unless I delete the post,correct it and repost.
   Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this I have re-installed the 'tinymce-advancred' editor and uninstalled some plug-ins and rechecked all settings.

   Hi There, I had this problem just this week on 2.8.5 right after up-grading from 2.8.4, I was unable to post or edit anything.

   The problem was a plugin, it was: Live CountDown Timer.
   Once deactivated, my problem was solved, hope this would help someone out there.

    I have the strangest problem. After installing plugin "Different Posts Per Page" only one posts becomes uneditable, the rest of the posts are fine. This post has around 5000 words, maybe that's the problem?
