    I upgraded my wordpress platform to 2.8 Since then i have had difficulty in editing my theme code.whenever i want to paste in some HTML code by right clicking ,the rest of the existing code gets highlighted,this means that if i proceed and click paste,then the original code is over written.How can i overcome this?

    Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    Thank you for your reply.I deactivated all the plug ins but it still wont work.

    Could any body come to my rescue?

    Are you sure this isn’t a problem with your mouse? Try just left-clicking once where you want to insert your code – making sure that no text is highlighted. Then press the CTRL and v to paste in your copied code.

    If that works, it’s a mouse problem. I have similar problems every time I start to wear out my Marble Mouse.
