Upgrade from 2.7 to 2.8 advised?

    When in my WordPress Dashboard it says I’m on version 2.7 and when I tried to upgrade it said I have the latest version installed.

    Should I upgrade to 2.8? How do I do it? And will it affect my site in any way?

    In case you’re using a lot of different plugins you should check whether they’re compatible with version 2.8. Anyway, make a backup of your database and the whole WordPress installation folder. If anything goes wrong you’ll be able to revert your changes.

    Should I upgrade to 2.8?

    Of course that depends, but I’d say yes.
