When I click on a post title on my blog, it displays a 404 message. I've also noticed in the URL that it uses the Month/Day method, but with Post# at the end, when I've specifically selected Month/Day/Post Name.

What exactly is your current permalink structure - eg: /%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/?
Right now it looks as if you've used /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/.

It's:
/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/
