%postname% vs. %post_id%

    Okay, maybe I am just too new to this, but, when I try to create a permalink with the %postname% tag, I get the Post ID instead of the name.

    Is this a known problem, or am I doing something wrong?

    P.S. I did a search on this topic and didn’t find anything on it so that leads me to believe that I am doing something wrong.

    P.P.S. I am using v1.5

    Thank you for the quick reply. You are right, that one works as advertised.

    Unfortunately, I am a newbie and try as I might, I can’t find anything that tells me how to check, or modify, a post slug.

    Can you, or some other kind reader, point me in the right direction?

    Never mind. If you ever see anyone else as stupid or blind as me, (who can’t see the silly “Post Slug” option) feel free to shove them up against a wall and force them to listen to GW Bush speeches.

    Nice design, BTW… and the subtitle somehow brings it close to my topics (the few ones that I wrote, LOL)
