   I just did the update to 2.8.3 and for some reason it stopped my navbar from showing any categories. Now it just says "no categories"

   Look here:

   I checked my posts and they all still have categories assigned. I tried disabling all plugins, then creating a new test category then making a new post and assigning it to that test cateory, but that didn't help. I've never modified any core wordpress files. Any ideas?

   Hi,

   Please redo the upgrade and upgrade wordpress manually. Also check that your theme is compatible with wordpress new version

   I already tried to redo the upgrade but it says:

   No Upgrade Required

   Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!

   Well i don't know what happened but my categories are suddenly showing again when I woke up this morning..
