Just installed wordpress and everything seemed ok until I used the url http://www.robertfarrelly.com/wordpress/ and it went to a directory page on my website and not the index.php page.
I've tried to turn off the directory in my control panel but it then just turns up an error.
Just to note once you put in http://www.robertfarrelly.com/wordpress/index.php it works fine.
Any ideas?

Robb,
I recently had this problem with my Concentric hosting. It was because my ISP required the .htaccess file, and there was none. Their security systems sometimes refuse to browse to directories without .htaccess.
Since I have no FTP to your site, there's no way for me to know if this is really your problem.

Hello,
Make sure that mod rewrite is enabled on your account as the default .htaccess file that wordpress starts with redirects http requests to your index.php file. Otherwise, you can just set your default document to index.php for your site.
