favicon not appearing

    Hi
    I’ve just created a favicon.ico
    Saved it in my theme via FTP and updated header.php but it’s not appearing.
    Any ideas?

    Same problem. Can anyone help, please?

    In my header.php:

    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.revelation-of-silence.com/favicon.ico" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon" />
<link rel="icon" href="http://www.revelation-of-silence.com/favicon.ico" type="image/x-ico" />

    And the favicon alone works, so the link adress is correct.

    (my prob is solved – for some reason it took a day until the favicon was “online”, although I deleted browsercache et cetera )
