• disclaimer: I am COMPLETELY new to wordpress. A friend helped me set up the site and gave me a quick intro. The rest I have tried to figure out on my own.

I use the Fusion theme. I would like to remove the sidebar from my site I have read that you need to remove the line of code that says <?php> sidebar.php ….or something like that. However, I don’t really know where I am supposed to remove that from. When I go to my dashboard -> appearance -> editor there are several templates on the right hand side. One of these templates is actually called “page without sidebar page template”. Obviously this is what I want, but I don’t know how to activate it/make it default/whatever you want to call it.

I understand this is probably a very basic question, but ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dug around and found the ?php sidebar command. Deleted the line from page.php …while this might not be the right way, it seems to have worked.

It seems to be a good point. Can you explain a little bit more deyailed how to do it.

    M
