   Hi,

   I want to make a new installation of version 2.7.1 of Wordpress so need help finding the final, supported installation files for this non-current version.

   My reasons for installing this version are partly partly to keep all my installations on the same version and also because some of the plugins I need to use are not yet tested on 2.8.

   I have found the downloads for Beta and RC installation files, but really want the full, supported version. Do you know where I can find this? Or is the download of 2.7.1-RC1 the same as the final release of 2.7.1?

   Thanks for that link. I had already found that page but am not confident which file to download:

   Please excuse my ignorance of terminology: Is the 2.7.1 RC1 installer the final release of 2.7.1?
