   I can not edit tag in my post when install last simple plugin ,How to fix it?

   have nearly the same problem here after update to 2.8. it seems to work fine (local tags and click tags) but the tags are not stored.

   using the normal tagging function of wordpress works fine.

   It is not working correctly on 2.8
   Website has this:
   a new version of Simple Tags for WordPress 2.8 is in preparation and will be release soon !

   on http://code.google.com/p/simple-tags/issues/detail?id=139&can=6&q=2.8 the error is submitted to the author... now hope and pray :-)

   in wp2.8 tags are handled different. this plugin does Tag the pages, but no tagcloud shows them… it looks like the tags of this plugin does not communicate back to the original tag ging system in Wordpress. Am i right?

   This is getting really frustrating. I seem to have LOST tags for dozens of postings. They have simply disappeared. Anyone know what's going on??
